Why did you choose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program?
One of the major characteristics that I love about Valley Children’s is the exceptional pediatric care that a tightly woven multidisciplinary team provides to a large area of California’s Central Valley. To me, a residency program is more than a source of training that will shape my career; it is where I will grow as a doctor and as a person. The Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program is relatively new compared to others, which I consider to be a great opportunity to build a powerful legacy that will positively impact not only future residents, but patients, faculty and staff as well.

Hobbies:
I enjoy motorcycle riding, dancing, singing, videogames, anime, martial arts (Muay Thai), cooking, and learning new skills.

Advocacy and/or Research Accomplishments:
The advocacy work I enjoyed the most during medical school was providing care to the LGBT community, women’s health and harm reduction services.

Care Philosophy:
I believe care starts from within and from the interactions we have with everyone around us. The kindness, positivity, passion and overall demeanor of the residents, faculty, and staff at Valley Children’s aligned with what I believe to be the best environment for working, growing, and healing.
