Accommodations on Valley Children's Hospital Campus
Valley Children's Hospital offers a variety of accommodations for patient families and guests who wish to visit or stay overnight, including at the bedside and on our hospital campus.
Parents or guardians are encouraged to visit 24 hours a day. A bedside recliner or sleeper sofa is available for overnight stays in patient rooms. The patient or patient’s legal guardian may select two adults who may stay overnight on acute care units. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit have special overnight visitor guidelines. Consult your child’s nurse for details.
Six recreational vehicle (RV) parking spaces are available for inpatient family use, for extended stays, on a first come, first served basis; reservations in advance of arrival cannot be accepted. One RV space per admitted inpatient is available for family use. Families wishing to use an RV parking space must contact Hospital Security upon arrival and prior to use. Please note: length of stay is limited. All families using a designated RV space must complete/submit an RV space Use Form, including vehicle description and contact information, available from Hospital Security. Overnight parking is only available at Valley Children’s Hospital in one of the six designated RV parking spaces on the east side of the hospital. Basic electrical, water and sanitation hookups are available. In the event the RV spaces are full, Hospital Security can direct you to a local RV Park at discounted rates arranged for Valley Children's Healthcare. Families arriving in an RV at Valley Children’s for an appointment(s) must contact Hospital Security upon arrival to be directed to an available/designated parking area for the time needed from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

A few steps from Valley Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House provides a place to stay for parents of patients who live outside the Fresno/Madera area. The house has 18 private guestrooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, a library, game room, TV room and children’s playroom. There is a nominal fee that can be waived if the family is unable to pay.
