Anjali Patel, PharmDAnjali Patel, PharmD

University of the Pacific: Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy

Dr. Anjali Patel grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles in the city of Diamond Bar. She attended University of the Pacific for her bachelor’s and PharmD. Her professional interests include infectious disease and general medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys anything related to food, such as trying new local spots or new recipes and loves spending time with her huge family. She’s extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to be a part of Valley Children’s! 

 


 

Noah Jacala, PharmDNoah Jacala, PharmD

University of the Pacafic: Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy

Dr. Noah Jacala was born and raised in San Leandro, California. He attended the University of the Pacific, where he obtained his bachelor’s and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees. His current professional interests include general pediatric medicine, neonatal intensive care and hematology/oncology. In his spare time, Dr. Jacala enjoys playing basketball, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. He feels extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of Valley Children’s Hospital and cannot wait to work with the entire healthcare team. 

 


 

Floredic Muya, PharmDFloredic Muya, PharmD

Pacific University School of Pharmacy

Dr. Floredic Mugar Muya was born in West Covina, California and raised in the city of Hemet. She earned her bachelor of science degree in biological sciences at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. After graduation, she continued to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Pacific University in Oregon. As a student, she was able to solidify her passion for pediatrics through participation in various pediatric experiences, organizations and research, all of which inspired her to pursue residency at Valley Children's Healthcare. Her current professional interests include critical care, cardiology and toxicology. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends. Floredic is ecstatic to join the Valley Children's Healthcare team and looks forward to the upcoming year ahead! 

 


 

Cherie Kim, PharmDCherie Kim, PharmD

University of the Pacific: Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy

Dr. Cherie Kim was born and raised in Cupertino, California. She earned her bachelor’s and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at the University of the Pacific: Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy. Dr. Kim knew early on that she was interested in pediatrics as she always had a heart to serve children and her rotations as a student at Valley Children’s Hospital truly confirmed her passion for pediatric pharmacy. Professionally, her current interests include general pediatric medicine, pediatric ICU, parenteral nutrition, and cystic fibrosis. Outside of the pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, Eponine, watching Korean dramas, and staying active through activities such as yoga or pilates. Dr. Kim is thrilled to be back at Valley Children’s Hospital as a resident and she is looking forward to a year full of growth and new beginnings!
