How We Support Valley Children's
Over the years, our Guilds have contributed over $30 million to benefit the healthcare needs of children. Their generosity has supported programs such as Child Life and Spiritual Care, enhanced resources by funding clinical equipment and created access to new services through the Guilds Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Center.
Like the bold step our founding mothers took more than 70 years ago, the Guilds of Valley Children's will focus their fundraising efforts on a $5 million commitment to establish the Guilds Center for Community Health.
Support the Guilds Center for Community Health
Valley Children’s recognizes that the health of our kids is impacted by social determinants such as physical environment, health behaviors and economic status. According to research, of all the factors that influence our health, only 20% are linked to the clinical care we receive – and 80% are related to these social determinants. The Guilds Center for Community Health is an investment in that 80%.
The Center’s work will be shaped by health data to identify kids within our service region who are in most need of our help.
Additional Ways to Support the Guilds
Shop at local stores, La Tienda Thrift Store and Holiday Boutique because all proceeds are donated to Valley Children’s. Participate in the employee match program where gifts are made by employers to support an employee’s 100% of tax-deductible contribution.
