Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Mark Rowe joined Valley Children’s in October 2010 as a pediatric otolaryngologist.

His specific areas of interest include pediatric airway evaluation and reconstruction, ear and hearing evaluation and surgery, sinus surgery and evaluation of neck masses.

Dr. Rowe came to Valley Children’s from Loma Linda Children’s Hospital where he served as director of pediatric otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, and Loma Linda University, where he served as associate professor of surgery and as residency program director, otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, in Loma Linda, California. In addition, he held the position of interim chief of otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California.

Dr. Rowe’s professional activities include membership in the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngologists, American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Broncho-Esophagology. He is a member of Specialty Medical Group.

Dr. Rowe has published in several professional journals including the American Journal of Otolaryngology and the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology.

Graduating from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Dr. Rowe completed his surgical internship and otolaryngology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He did a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, Maryland.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, as well as bike riding and running.
