Why did you chose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program?
I wanted to come to Valley Children’s because it is a large children's hospital that cares for a wide variety of children throughout a large area. While being a large hospital with lots of opportunities to care for many children, it is a close-knit smaller program. Equally important, Valley Children’s truly cares about each resident and respects their wellbeing outside of the hospital.

Hobbies:
Hiking, exercising and being outdoors, baking, cooking and watching more Netflix than I should with my kitten

Advocacy and Research Interests and Accomplishments:
I have enjoyed volunteering at clinics for homeless families and working at Federally Qualified Health Clinics. I am also interested in global health and hope to explore this more during residency.

Care Philosophy:
I believe good medical care starts with strong preventative medicine from primary care pediatricians. Pediatricians must always consider social determinants of health that influence each child's health and then provide equitable care for each child.
