I was born and raised in Northern California. I went to UC Berkeley for undergrad where I majored in molecular cell biology. I worked in Sacramento for the CA Department of Public Health before going to medical school. I live in Fresno with my wife and two children.
Why I Chose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program:
I did a rotation here as a medical student and immediately felt welcomed as part of the team. After seeing the faculty and residents’ passion for excellent medical care for children in the Central Valley, I knew this would be a great environment to learn and become a pediatrician.
Spending time with my wife and kids, Paw Patrol puzzles (against my will), being active, cooking, trivia nights.
I previously did research in diabetes education. I have interests in neonatology and hospital medicine.
I believe establishing trust with patients and families in order to partake in shared decision making is extremely important. I want patients and families to feel actively involved and knowledgeable about their care.
