MAGNET RECOGNITION PROGRAM® — SITE VISIT
Valley Children’s Healthcare was designated as a Magnet organization in 2004, 2008, and 2014 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. In January 2019, Valley Children’s Healthcare is applying for redesignation.
Patients, family members, staff, and interested parties who would like to provide comments are encouraged to do so. Anyone may send comments via e-mail and direct mail. All comments received by phone must be followed up in writing to the Magnet Program Office.
Your comments must be received by the Magnet Program Office by January 4, 2019
NOTE: All comments are CONFIDENTIAL and are not shared with the health care organization. Comments may be anonymous, but they must be sent in writing to the Magnet Program Office.

Confidential and Public Sessions Available During Site Visit
The following times have been established to speak with the appraisers during the site visit.
Confidential Sessions will be available for staff or public who wish to have a private conversation with an appraiser on the following dates:
- January 14, 2019 -- 3:15pm - 4:00pm Surgery Conference Room, Valley Children’s Hospital
- January 14, 2019 -- 11:25am - 11:55am Surgery Conference Room, Valley Children’s Hospital
Public Forum will be available for public to speak with appraisers in groups or as individuals who speak in front of the group.
