Board certified in general and pediatric anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Kamyar Bahmanpour joined Valley Children’s in September 2016 as a pediatric anesthesiologist.

Passionate about helping others, Dr. Bahmanpour participated in a surgical/medical mission in Guatemala where he provided medical support to children in need. Dr. Bahmanpour has presented, published and conducted research on various topics in his field. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. 

Dr. Bahmanpour received his medical degree from the Tehran Azad Medical School and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Advocate Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he served as chief administrative resident. Dr. Bahmanpour completed his fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  

Dr. Bahmanpour speaks Farsi and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
