About

Dr. Gregory Rodden joined Valley Children’s sleep medicine team in 2023.

After completing his bachelors and masters at Virginia Tech, Gregory earned his Doctor of Osteopathic medicine degree (D.O.) from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. During medical school, he found his love for all things pediatrics and subsequently went on to complete his residency training at Dell Children’s Medical Center at the University of Texas at Austin. While in residency, he found his niche in the world of pediatric sleep medicine, so he opted to pursue fellowship training in sleep medicine at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Rodden is a member of multiple professional associations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He has presented research at a variety of professional events, including the annual SLEEP conference held by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, where he discussed his work on the use of CPAP in children with trisomy 21. In addition to many oral and poster presentations, Dr. Rodden has been a contributing author to medical textbooks and co-authored books on topics in sleep medicine and medical education.

Outside of his work helping kids to sleep, Dr. Rodden enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts, walking his dog in Woodward Park, and leisurely coffee dates with his wife.
