"I seek to protect my patients by providing an up-to date and evidence based treatment approach. Preventing harm is top priority. I do my best to educate the families about causes of illness, the time frame and prognosis as far as I know. Children are our future and I love to invest to keep them well and happy."

Board certified in general pediatrics, Dr. Bassel Al Horany joined Valley Children’s as a pediatric hospitalist in 2018.
Prior to Valley Children’s, Dr. Al Horany worked as pediatric specialist at Hatta Hospital in Dubai, Bahrain Specialist Hospital in Bahrain and at the Medical City of Kalamoon University in Syria. Dr. Al Horany has international experience in his field and is certified by the Educational Commission on Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Dr. Al Horany received his medical degree from Damascas University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He completed his pediatric residencies at Children’s Hospital in Syria in 2010 and at University of Toledo in Ohio in 2018. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

2018 neonatal research study on the efficacy of a modern mechanical non-invasive ventilation mode called NIV NAVA to prevent premature baby apneas.
