About

Board certified in pediatric emergency medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Robert Kezirian has been a physician at Valley Children’s for more than 20 years. A proven physician leader, he has served on numerous Hospital committees including chair of the Medical Education Committee, chief of staff of the Hospital’s Medical Staff, and chair of the Performance Improvement Committee.

An active member in the community, Dr. Kezirian has participated in Project Niño, a free health clinic in Santiago de Tautla, a small town 45 miles north of Mexico City. Each year, a group of physicians and nurses from Children’s Hospital – as well as dentists and optometrists – turn the town’s elementary school into a small medical center, serving children who otherwise would have limited access to medical care.

Graduating from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico, Dr. Kezirian completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at UCSF Valley Medical Center in Fresno.

Dr. Kezirian also served as a coordinator/coach for the Special Olympics, and was honored with the Paul Harris Fellow Award in Humanitarian Service. His hobbies include tennis, water skiing, snow skiing, farming and raisin production.
