This year’s 93.7 FM “KISS Country for Kids” Radiothon, scheduled for September 9-10, 2021, marks the 23rd year of changing kids’ health in our community. Throughout the event’s history, it has been a powerful venue to share stories of hope and healing at Valley Children’s Hospital, and to raise much needed funds to support Valley Children’s continued efforts to serve the more than 1.3 million children in the Central Valley.
Inspirational patient stories and interviews will be broadcasted during the two days. Tune in to hear about miracle kids like Joie from Tulare. Joie was 2.5 years old when she was diagnosed with Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS) from an infection with E. coli. Joie spent two weeks at Valley Children’s with several nights in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) because she was critically anemic requiring blood transfusions and oxygen. She suffered acute kidney failure, but thankfully made a turnaround before needing dialysis. She is now thriving and will be starting pre-K this fall.
We encourage you to support the 23rd Annual “KISS Country for Kids” Radiothon through our various platforms, including our online giving page and text-to-give option. Your generosity allows us to change kids’ health and change the future for kids like Joie.
