Board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Jennie Daly joined the child advocacy team at Valley Children's in May 2021.
 
Dr. Daly earned her medical degree from University Autónoma of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico. She completed her residency in general pediatrics at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York, and completed her fellowship training in child abuse at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. 
 
As an expert in the field of child advocacy, Dr. Daly has testified in court for several cases and she is certified in child forensic interviewing. Dr. Daly has had experience in the assessment and treatment of many forms of child abuse and she has ongoing involvement in scholarly activity that includes various case presentations and research that focuses on pediatric forensic medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Ray E. Helfer Society, an honorary society of physicians dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of child abuse.
 
Dr. Daly has applied her medical training and Spanish language skills while volunteering in underserved communities in Mexico, where she provided health education, assisted with urgent care visits and performed physical exams. Dr. Daly grew up in the Fresno area and after completing her medical training, she is grateful to be back to serve the children of Central Valley
