Tuesday is the 34th Annual Kids Day Benefiting Valley Children’s Hospital

(Madera, California) – The 34th Annual Kids Day benefiting Valley Children’s Hospital is tomorrow - Tuesday, March 9. Protecting the health and well-being of our community continues to be Valley Children’s top priority. So for the second year in a row, Kids Day will be a digital event.

Since 1988, Kids Day has raised more than $10.1 million for the “Children’s Fund.” Last year, donations helped Valley Children’s rank as one of the best children’s hospitals in the country in seven specialties; earn a Best Children’s Hospital award from The Leapfrog Group, in recognition of outstanding quality of care and patient safety; and also launch programs and initiatives that helped keep our patients and families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The past year has been like no other for our healthcare teams and for the families we are honored to serve,” says Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation President Rob Saroyan. “We are so grateful for the support communities extend to us on Kids Day each year, and while we will certainly miss the sight of 8,000 volunteers hitting the streets throughout the Valley Tuesday, we remain optimistic that we’ll all be out there again next year.”
