Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Awards Two New Outpatient Clinical Services Grants to Valley Children's

Valley Children's Hospital, a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-accredited center, has been awarded two new outpatient clinical services grants totaling more than $191,000 by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center at Valley Children's Hospital provides care for 176 patients ranging in age from birth to 21 years of age. Currently, our CF team consists of a physician, nurse, dietician, social worker, psychologist, respiratory care therapist, research coordinator and pharmacist.

These new grants will assist our CF Center with the expansion of the clinical team to add a pharmacy technician and a physical therapist position. This collaborative effort between the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Valley Children's team will allow us to reach a new level of excellence at our Center and bring our best to the families that we serve.
