Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management
Danielle Barry is vice president, revenue cycle management, at Valley Children’s, with responsibility for overseeing patient accounting, patient access, revenue integrity, coding and clinical documentation improvement.
Danielle joined Valley Children’s in 2011 as director, patient accounting. Prior to her expanded VP role effective May 2015, she was previously responsible for operations of the patient accounting department and physician billing, including claims processing, accounts receivable management, charity and financial assistance.
Danielle began her career in healthcare at Cancer Care Associates in Fresno where she served in several financial leadership positions. Prior to that, she worked in a leadership role for the Internal Revenue Service.
A member of Valley Children’s Partners in Care Council and the mother of a neonatal intensive care unit graduate, Danielle serves as a parent advocate and feels passionate about contributing to Valley Children’s efforts to provide the best patient experience.
Danielle received her bachelor’s degree in communication from California State University, Fresno, where she graduated with honors. She completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
