Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Kenneth J. Price serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Valley Children’s Healthcare. In this role, he provides strategic legal counsel to the organization’s executive leadership, Boards of Trustees and Medical Staff, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations while supporting the advancement of Valley Children’s mission.
Ken brings more than two decades of legal experience, including as Managing Shareholder at the Fresno-based law firm of Baker Manock & Jensen, PC, where he also served as outside counsel to Valley Children’s on a range of complex transactional matters. His private practice included real estate, land use, public law, environmental, statutory and regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. He has served as general counsel for numerous public and private organizations, offering legal guidance on high-impact initiatives and policy development.
Prior to his tenure at Baker Manock & Jensen, Ken worked in government, having served as senior advisor to United States Senator Dianne Feinstein, members of Congress and a Los Angeles County district attorney. His work in public safety, infrastructure and community development has left a lasting impact across the Central Valley and throughout California.
Ken has played a pivotal role in advancing Valley Children’s strategic partnerships, including the development of River Vista Behavioral Health, in collaboration with Universal Health Services, and the expansion of Valley Children’s academic partnership with Fresno State.
Ken earned his juris doctorate degree, with honors, from Loyola Law School and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis. He is deeply committed to the health and well-being of children and families in the Central Valley – having served as a member on various local nonprofit boards and advisory committees, as well as the Eastern District Judicial Selection Advisory Committee, which advises on the selection of United States Attorneys and District Court Judges in Central California. Ken enjoys spending time with his family, including catching a Dodger game with his two sons.
