Urology

The Urology Practice at Valley Children’s provides specialized care to infants, children and adolescents (up to 21 years of age) with genital and urological problems. In addition to pediatric urologists, the practice is staffed with nurse practitioners, nurses, dieticians, and social workers. A urologist is on call 24 hours a day for emergencies.

  • Complex urologic reconstructions (spina bifida/neurogenic bladder/ambiguous genitalia/bladder exstrophy/hypospadias)
  • Kidney stones
  • Tumors (kidney, bladder, testicle)
  • Bed wetting/voiding dysfunction

Spina Bifida Center—Our urologists collaborate with the multiple specialties, including: Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Physiatry, Dietary, and Social Work to treat children with Spina Bifida to improve their quality of life. We are a designated California Children’s Services Center.
