When kids are home from summer break, the days get longer, appetites get bigger and snacks are a way of life. Knowing what to make every day can be a challenge, so we put together three kid-approved recipes for the summer that will be a hit for all ages! Packed with vitamins and nutrients, these recipes also get parent approval. 

Frozen Banana Pops 🍌

Bananas

Ingredients  

  • One medium banana
  • ¾ cup any flavor yogurt of your choice Pro Tip: Choose Greek yogurt for even more protein!
  • Popsicle stick  

Instructions

  • Peel your banana and cut it in half  
  • Stick the popsicle stick into the cut side of the banana  
  • Dip the banana into the yogurt 
  • Eat as is or place your banana in the freezer for 10 minutes for a cool treat!  

Sour Grapes 🍇

Frozen Grapes

Ingredients 

  • Green or red grapes  
  • Lemon or lime juice  

Instructions 

  • Wash your grapes and pat them dry  
  • Cover your washed grapes in lemon or lime juice  
  • Place in the freezer for 2-3 hours or overnight  

Pantry Trail Mix 🍿

Pantry Trail Mix

Ingredients 

  • Whatever is in your pantry!  
  • Some items may include: 
    • Popcorn 
    • Pretzels 
    • Dried Fruit 
    • Raisins 
    • Chocolate Chips 
    • Cereal 

Instructions 

  • Throw all your ingredients into a bowl and mix. It’s that easy!
