La Feliz Guild - (1949)

What was La Feliz Guild’s first fundraising project, a horse show, has since then transformed into Derby Down, a Day at the Races, a derby-themed event coinciding with the Kentucky Derby each May. Guild members and guests alike dress in their finest derby attire while bidding on items in the live and silent auctions, enjoying a southern cuisine and watching the Kentucky Derby live to end the event – it’s a thrill each year!
