Kaytasha Pempleton, NP, joined Valley Children’s as a nurse practitioner at Stockdale Pediatrics in Bakersfield in June 2020.
Kaytasha brings nearly 20 years of professional experience to Valley Children’s. Before joining Stockdale Pediatrics, she provided diabetes management care to families as a nurse practitioner at Omni Family Health in Delano. Prior to Omni Family Health, Kaytasha worked as a nurse practitioner, labor and delivery nurse and nurse educator at several medical centers throughout the region.
A member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Kaytasha is committed to providing the best care to patients and their families and empowering them through education; in addition to being a nurse practitioner, Kaytasha is also a lactation educator and a certified diabetes educator. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from California State University, Bakersfield.
Kaytasha is an advocate for providing compassionate care to patients and families in a professional and ethical manner. She is passionate about individualizing care based on the needs of the patient while adhering to best practice guidelines.
