Valley Children's Pediatrics

Valley Children's Pediatrics

Pediatricians in Your Neighborhood

Valley Children’s has been a trusted name in Central California for more than six decades – giving families access to high-quality pediatric specialists and the Valley’s only state-of-the-art children’s hospital. Building on this tradition, we are now providing pediatric primary care in your neighborhood with board-certified and board-eligible pediatricians.

Health from Every Degree: Caring for Our Kids’ Mental Health Needs

We believe that health depends on physical health as well as mental well-being. That’s why we’ve created a free downloadable Mental Health Toolkit in partnership with Valley Children’s 360me initiative, which aims to help parents and families better understand the importance of mental health and the many connections between mental and physical health. Let's start the conversation. And together, let's take care of our kids from every degree.

Appointment Services

Same-Day Sick Visits

We do not have “Walk in Hours”, but we make every attempt to allow ample appointments slots in our schedule to accommodate sick visits. During the winter cold and flu season, we open our schedules up for more sick visits. If by chance you are unable to obtain a same-day appointment with your regular pediatrician, we will help you find an available appointment with another provider in our primary care network.

If you believe a life threatening medical condition is present, call 9-1-1.

Immunizations

We believe very strongly in the importance of childhood immunizations, and to adhere to the immunization schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). If you feel differently and do not wish to immunize your child according to the schedule, we may not be the right practice for you.

Sports Physicals

Many school districts require sports clearance before participation in intramural sports beginning in 7th grade. If your child will or might be playing sports within the next year and will need a completed sports physical, please let us know at the time of your child’s well-check.

New Patients

We specialize in pediatric care from birth through adolescence. If you are interested in choosing a Valley Children's Medical Group pediatrician as your child’s primary care physician, please call us at any of our local offices. We also offer services for expectant parents who are established with our group. Once your baby is born, one of our pediatricians will visit you in the hospital, assess your newborn’s health, and answer any questions you may have.

Well Child Checkups

The benefits of well child visits include prevention of childhood illnesses, tracking growth and development and an opportunity for you to ask questions or raise concerns about specific items such as sleep or behavior. We recommend following the Bright Futures/American Academy of Pediatrics schedule for routine checkups.

Careers

We hold Valley Children's mission close to our hearts and look for candidates who can help us fulfill our vision of becoming the nation's best healthcare network for children.
