Coming to the hospital for surgery
Coming to the hospital for your child’s surgery can feel like a big step, and we’re here to make it as comfortable and stress-free as possible. At Valley Children’s Hospital, our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where your child—and your family—feels safe and supported. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by caring professionals who specialize in pediatric care and understand the unique needs of children. Where to go on surgery day
On the day of your child's scheduled surgery, you will enter through the "Surgery" entrance at Valley Children's Hospital. There, you will check in with our security desk and pre-surgery registration desk. Two healthy adults are welcome to accompany your child in the pre-surgery room while we prepare them for surgery. Please arrive on time; late arrivals may cause a delay in your surgery or may cause your surgery to be rescheduled.
