Pharmacy Residency Rotations
Through a robust rotation schedule, Valley Children's pharmacy residents are trained to be effective independent clinical pharmacists for our patients, from neonates to young adults. At the end of their program, residents will be eligible for board certification and will be prepared for a post-graduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy training program.
PGY1 Pharmacy Rotations
Valley Children’s pharmacy residents have opportunities for a wide variety of experiences through both acute care and non-acute care focused areas.

Elective experiences can be a repeat of a required rotation already completed for a more advanced experience. Other elective learning experiences may be developed based on resident interest and preceptor availability. Rotation changes can be discussed and approval is based on preceptor availability and space. Requests to be made to the RPD early in the year to determine feasibility.
