Pharmacy Residency PGY1 and PGY2 Programs
Valley Children’s offers a one-year Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency with an emphasis in pediatrics and a one-year Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Pediatric Pharmacy Residency that builds upon the clinical foundation established during a PGY1 residency through advanced pediatric-focused training. We are also a rotation site for pharmacy students completing their pharmacy practice experiences (IPPEs/APPEs).

For seven decades, Valley Children’s Hospital has served the 1.3 million children living in the Central Valley. Since 1999, we’ve been training pharmacists to provide specialized pharmaceutical care for our pediatric population. Postgraduate Residency Year Two
Our one-year, intensive pediatric pharmacy residency provides comprehensive training across a wide range of pediatric specialty practice areas, including critical care, hematology/oncology, neonatal intensive care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, and ambulatory care, equipping residents with advanced skills in the care of pediatric patients across the continuum of care.
