Sequoia Guild (1950)
Sequoia Guild represents the City of Sanger and the surrounding area. Sequoia Guild is an eager, ambitious group of ladies dedicated to raising funds for the hospital. It began its modest fundraising with the raffle of a hand-knit dress. Through the years, other fundraisers evolved, such as their Halloween Ball, Christmas Boutique and a dinner dance called “Beans for Jeans.”
Today, “Beans for Jeans” is now known as the “Harvest Dinner Dance” and has grown into their signature event. This event is held every October in Sanger and is full of fun, great auction items, dinner and a casual dance.
Sequoia Guild joins the other Guilds of Valley Children's in support of the $5M Guilds Center for Community Health endowment.
