Leading Cancer Care

The oncology clinic at Valley Children's provides the breadth of specialized services and depth of experience to treat a range of cancer diagnoses, from the most common to the rarest conditions. Our family-centered clinic includes an outpatient unit with consultation rooms, an infusion center, a playroom and utilizes child life services to ensure the best care.

The patient population is incredibly diverse in oncology, reflecting the complex nature of patients we manage. Patients with leukemia and lymphoma make up about 45% of the population seen in oncology. Other disorders treated include solid tumor, neuro-oncology, histiocytosis and vascular anomalies. With an 85% survival rate, our oncology clinic helps patients transition to adulthood and is proud to offer support though The Fresno Truck Center Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program which focuses on potential physical, emotional and other long-term side effects of cancer treatment.
