Each football season, we team up with Fresno State for a once in a lifetime experience for a few lucky patients. At every home football game, one Valley Children’s patient is selected to be the Kid Captain of the game. They get to participate in the coin toss with the team, along with being part of the on-field festivities. For the 2024 season, we have six special Kid Captains to introduce you to the day before each big game!

Meet Brielle!

This sixth-grader loves singing, painting and playing with her friends!

At the beginning of this year, Brielle was diagnosed with Vasculitis and Lupus and stayed at Valley Children’s to be treated. Today, Brielle is doing much better and still sees her favorite doctors for her treatments.

When this 11-year-old grows up, she hopes to be a teacher just like her own!

Join us in giving Brielle a big Bulldog welcome as we cheer on her and the ‘Dogs at Valley Children’s Stadium on October 12!
