About Me
Board certified in pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Wendy Tcheng joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in May 2008 as a pediatric hematologist/oncologist. Her primary interests include bleeding disorders, neuroblastoma and renal tumors.
Dr. Tcheng previously practiced at Harbor-University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, UCLA School of Medicine, where she was assistant professor and responsible investigator for the Children’s Oncology Group.
Dr. Tcheng is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
She has published in peer-reviewed journals including Pediatric Blood and Cancer and Haemophilia.
Receiving her medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Tcheng completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She did a fellowship in hematology-oncology at UCLA Medical Center.
