About Me
Board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Vanessa Concina joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in 2019 as a neonatologist.
Dr. Concina previously practiced at Guam Regional Medical City where she was a neonatologist and vice chairman in the department of pediatrics. She is a diplomate for the American Board of Pediatrics, a member of the American Medical Association and certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Passionate about neonatal development, Dr. Concina has shared her research through various poster presentations and has been published in peer reviewed publications such as Pediatrics and the Journal of Perinatology.
Dr. Conica received her medical degree from the University of Santo Thomas in the Philippines in 2006, where she also completed her pediatric residency in 2013. She earned a masters in medical science from the University of Kentucky and then went on to complete her residency in neonatal-perinatal medicine through Kentucky Children’s Hospital in 2016.
