Stanley Kim, MD

Dr. Stanley Kim is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and practices as a pediatric interventional radiologist.

Dr. Kim previously practiced at the Ann and H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, where he was a pediatric interventional radiologist and the medical director of the vascular access team. He was affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital as an interventional radiologist while also holding the position of assistant professor of radiology at Northwestern University.

As a member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology, Society of Interventional Radiology and Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology, Dr. Kim is a well-known expert in his field and has been a moderator of pediatric radiology across the United States. Dr. Kim has been an editorial peer reviewer for Pediatric Radiology and the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He has covered imaging topics such as right heart lesions and patient management in Caffey’s Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging.

Dr. Kim received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in 1999. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology in Chicago, Illinois at Michael Reese Hospital and at Mercy Hospital. Dr. Kim completed his fellowship in pediatric interventional radiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

In his free time, Dr. Kim travels internationally where he headlines lectures on topics specific to pediatric interventional radiology.
