About Me
Fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologist Dr. Renu Nair received her medical degree from Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grover, Illinois before completing anesthesiology residency training at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System in Chicago. She then went on to receive advanced clinical training as a pediatric anesthesiology fellow at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where she served as chief fellow.
Throughout her medical training, Dr. Nair gained dedicated research experience investigating neuroendocrine cancers and presented several abstracts on this topic at national conferences. Additionally, her work on generalized tonic-clonic seizures was published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
In addition to her training and expertise, Dr. Nair is committed to serving others through volunteerism opportunities. In 2022, she served as a member of a medical mission trip to provide anesthetic care for children undergoing various orthopedic surgeries in Buga, Columbia.
Outside of her clinical duties, Dr. Nair enjoys hiking, amateur photography, and spending time with her husband, two naughty cats and dog.
