Navjot Sidhu, MD

Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Sidhu is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician (DBP) with Valley Children's Specialty Medical Group practicing at the Charlie Mitchell Children's Center in Madera. With a medical degree from St. James School of Medicine and residency training at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Dr. Sidhu further specialized in DBP through a fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She also holds a certificate from the University of Pennsylvania focused on patient safety and quality improvement, underscoring her commitment to high standards of care.

As an advocate for multidisciplinary collaboration, Dr. Sidhu completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program at CHOP, where she developed a broad perspective on managing complex neurodevelopmental needs. She has authored a published chapter focusing on autism, specifically addressing the often-overlooked challenges related to autism and sleep.

Dr. Sidhu's dedication to families and children is reflected in her volunteer work, research and quality improvement efforts. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking and exploring nature, inspired by her time in Pennsylvania's lush landscapes. A devoted dog lover, she shares her home with three loyal German Shepherds and a spirited Belgian Malinois, who bring adventure and balance to her life.
