About Me
Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and the Physician Assistant Board of California, Joyce Young is a physician assistant with nearly 40 years of experience in healthcare. Prior to her current role, she saw patients for 27 years as a cardiac sonographer, registered in pediatric, fetal and adult echocardiography. She has special clinical interests in pediatric cardiology, embryologic development of the heart, and surgical repairs of congenital heart defects. In addition, Joyce enjoys teaching and mentorship.
When she is not seeing patients, Joyce enjoys spending time with her family and going on trips to the beach.
