Dr. Jacqueline Angles joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in 2025 as a sleep medicine specialist. She is board certified in sleep medicine and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is affiliated with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Prior to her current position, Dr. Angles held roles as a sleep physician at El Paso Children’s Hospital and served as sleep physician, associate professor of medicine, and medical director of the sleep lab at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Angles has delivered resident lectures on oral and maxillofacial surgery, ward teaching in sleep medicine and grand rounds in internal medicine and sleep medicine. She has been an invited speaker on women’s healthcare and sleep disorders. Additionally, she has led committees and served as chair and representative on various hospital committees.
After earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (D.O.) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Angles completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. She then pursued a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care.
