About Me
Dr. Hyun Su Kim is a dedicated physician specializing in pediatric anesthesia and joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in 2024.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kim has been deeply involved in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives. His work includes projects aimed at reducing surgical delays for pediatric patients, as well as contributing to the medical understanding of spinal injuries through published studies in esteemed journals such as Neurosurgery and World Neurosurgery. Dr. Kim has also presented his findings at national and international conferences.
He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He then went on to complete a fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is currently an active member of the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia.
