About Me
Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Dhakshitha Peddisetty joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group as a pediatric pulmonologist in August 2025.
Dr. Peddisetty earned her medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in India. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of South Alabama. Following her residency, Dr. Peddisetty attended the pediatric pulmonary fellowship program at the University of California, Irvine.
During her residency, Dr. Peddisetty was an active member of the residency diversity coalition, a program dedicated to fostering unity among residents of diverse backgrounds. This experience helped her recognize the importance of diversity in delivering comprehensive and equitable health care. Dr. Peddisetty also has a special interest in respiratory disorders, including those related to obesity, asthma, lung disease and cystic fibrosis. Her research experience includes evaluating treatment options for diabetes and investigating the relationship between obesity and lung growth and development.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring different cuisines, hiking and dancing.
