About Me
Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and by the Medical Board of California, Dr. Danielle Checky joined Valley Children’s Medical Group in August 2025 as an emergency medicine physician.
Dr. Checky’s has been published in peer-reviewed publications, such as Hospital Pediatrics and Clinical Pediatrics. Her focus on quality improvement and research has been shared at numerous events around the world, including the Abstracts of the Pediatric Academic Society (PAS) Conference in Toronto, Canada and the Abstracts of the UCSD/RCHSD Annual Pediatrics Research Symposium in San Diego.
After attending medical school at the University of Queensland School of Medicine - Ochsner Clinical, Dr. Checky completed her pediatric residency and pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
Dr. Checky has an extensive background in leadership roles with the Resident Physician Council and Resident Recruitment Committee at UCSD. She also has years of teaching experience and is dedicated to community involvement. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and beach camping.
