About Me
Dr. Chetan Patel is board certified in neonatology by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Patel worked in private practice for many years in Iowa, Texas and Southern California prior to joining the team at Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group. He has made numerous presentations and his work has been published in the Archives of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his internship and pediatric residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Patel completed a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
