About Me
Double board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Ariel Chairez joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group in 2017.
After earning his medical degree from the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Chairez went on to earn a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his pediatric residency at El Paso Children’s Hospital and pursued a fellowship in pediatric critical care at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Following his extensive training, Dr. Chairez worked as an attending physician at Miller Children’s Hospital, Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center, and Los Robles Medical Center in Southern California. His passion for working with underserved communities led him to Valley Children’s Hospital, where he has served as a pediatric critical care attending physician and currently holds the role of Associate Medical Director for the PICU.
