About Me
Board certified in general pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Anton Mandrov joined Valley Children’s Medical Group in 2025 as a pediatric cardiologist at the Willson Heart Center.
Dr. Mandrov earned his medical degree from The Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. He completed his pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia through Augusta University Health.
Previously, Dr. Mandrov has worked as a pediatric hospitalist and has also contributed to research efforts exploring ways to reduce postoperative complications in children with congenital heart disease, including the use of machine learning techniques. He has presented this work at the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) annual meeting.
