About Me

Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Jamie Lee joined Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group as a pediatric gastroenterologist in August 2022.

Dr. Lee previously practiced at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, where she completed her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training.

After earning her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, Dr. Lee went on to complete a certificate in population health and health equity from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her residency training at Authority Health/Michigan State University College of Medicine in Detroit, where she served as education chair, before beginning her fellowship training.

Dr. Lee is a member of several professional organizations, including the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the American Gastroenterological Association, the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

During her medical training, Dr. Lee’s contributions to research and quality improvement covered a variety of topics, including antibiotic resistance, gastroesophageal reflux, c. difficile and more. She has presented research at industry-leading conferences, such as the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition annual meeting and is published in Gastroenterology and Case Reports in Pediatrics.

Dr. Lee is fluent in English and Korean.
