About this event

Join Valley Children's pediatric psychologist Jessica Louie, PhD, for a lecture in our Primary Care Pediatric Provider Educational Series on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The Quarterly Primary Care Pediatric Provider Educational Series is a structured program designed to enhance clinical knowledge, patient care strategies, and quality improvement measures for pediatric healthcare providers. Each session will focus on a specific topic relevant to primary care pediatrics, integrating evidence-based guidelines, clinical best practices, and emerging research.

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Apply evidence-based guidelines to improve diagnosis and treatment of pediatric conditions.
  • Develop strategies to standardize patient management across primary care settings.
  • Identify and mitigate implicit biases that may impact patient care and decision-making.
  • Enhance communication with diverse patient populations by incorporating cultural and linguistic competence.
