Maternal Fetal Center

From conducting routine diagnostic tests to managing complex cases, we specialize in treating women with high-risk pregnancies. With advanced technologies and the most inclusive team of experts, our Maternal Fetal Center provides the best care for mother and baby before, during and after delivery.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Valley Children’s Hospital offers Regional Level IV neonatal intensive care. We also operate a network of NICUs in other regional hospitals, providing opportunities for families with critically ill babies to receive treatment closer to home.

Newborn Care Subspecialists

A high-risk pregnancy may involve a subspecialist by the time a mother reaches her second trimester. No other program in Central California provides this comprehensive expertise of multidisciplinary care for newborns. Subspecialties frequently involved in treating congenital anomalies and birth defects include cardiology, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, and more.
