Join us Thursday, November 13, from 12:15 p.m. - 1 p.m. for a lecture in our Religious Beliefs and Practices series titled "Catholic Sacraments-Baptism, Anointing of the Sick, Eucharist (Communion) and Reconciliation (Confession)," presented by Rev. Msgr. Robert D. Wenzinger.

The goal of this series is to feature individuals with unique perspectives and experiences as they pertain to religious beliefs and the role it plays in medical treatment.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the basic beliefs of the various faiths as they relate to healthcare delivery.
  • Differentiate the elements of various faiths that may impact seeking healthcare and medical practice.
  • Recognize common rituals and practices including those frequently requested at the end of life.
