Why did you choose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program?
I was drawn to Valley Children’s program because of its reputation for providing a variety of training opportunities and care to a diverse population. I also felt that the friendly and collaborative environment was one that could help me grow as a person and pediatrician.
Hobbies: Running, hiking, playing golf, spending time with my dog, video games, building puzzles, and watching movies.
Advocacy and Research Interests and Accomplishments: I am passionate about mentoring and advocating for the under-served in my community. My previous research had a goal of expanding physical activity opportunities in racial and ethnic minority neighborhoods by bringing community resources together and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Care Philosophy: I believe that building a trusting relationship with patients and their families is essential to providing compassionate care. My goal is to provide children with the care they need to live healthy lives, while empowering them to reach their full potential.
