Join us on Thursday, June 12 for a lunch and learn event in our Religious Beliefs and Practices CME series titled "Spiritual Care & Chaplaincy - More Than a Prayer." Speaker Joshua Simmons, MA, will present unique perspectives and experiences as they pertain to religious beliefs and the role it plays in medical treatment.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Recognize the basic beliefs of the various faiths as they relate to healthcare delivery.
• Differentiate the elements of various faiths that may impact seeking healthcare and medical practice.
• Recognize common rituals and practices including those frequently requested at the end of life.
