Nutrition and Weight Management
A highly experienced team of Registered Dietitians in the Clinical Nutrition Department at Children’s Hospital provide medical nutrition therapy to patients. Our clinical dietitians work closely with pediatric subspecialists in outpatient and inpatient settings to develop and implement nutrition plans of care according to age and disease. We also provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families.

Participants will learn the basics of nutrition, how to choose healthy meals and snacks instead of unhealthy ones and the importance of exercise. Healthy Habits students will identify current eating patterns and leave class with a plan to make healthier food choices; how to choose from a wide variety of snack options to make quick, healthy snacks; and identify the types of fitness activities that impact health and come away with fun ways to increase their activity level.
Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 8 am – 4:30 pm
