Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Yash Patel joined Children’s Hospital Central California in September 2012 as a pediatric anesthesiologist.
Dr. Patel is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and Society for Pediatric Anesthesia.
Dr. Patel earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He did his internship in internal medicine at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Maryland. He completed his residency at the University of Vermont-Fletcher Allen Healthcare, department of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine, in Burlington, Vt. He did his fellowship at George Washington University, Children’s National Medical Center, department of anesthesiology and pain medicine, in Washington, DC.
Over the years, Dr. Patel has enjoyed doing humanitarian work, including participating in Operation Smile as a Regan Fellowship recipient for anesthesiology in Lima, Peru, and participating in mission work in Haiti with Crudem.
